Part-time, senior supervising animal charity care assistant/fundraiser. 28 hours per week (with additional holiday cover).

Duties to include (but not limited to): general animal husbandry within a rescue environment, supervising staff & volunteers in manager’s absence, fundraising marketing & promoting the charity, administration, home checking, assessing and rehoming animals.

Proven management experience with domestic animals, ideally within a kennel environment, is essential. Animal care qualifications preferred though experience is more important. Fundraising/marketing experience sought.

Candidates should have a full UK driving license. Salary TBA.

*** Animal Care Assistant – Full time – 35 hours per week (min wage)

St Francis Animal Welfare are looking for a full-time animal care assistant. This will be 5 days per week – to include most weekends.

Candidates must be very confident with handling all species of animal and will have had past experience working within an animal rescue or a busy kennel environment. Excellent customer service skills are a must and computer literacy and fundraising skills would be a strong advantage.

Ideally candidates will be in possession of a full clean driving license.

Qualifications in animal care highly desirable but not essential.

DBS check required.

Duties will include feeding, cleaning, walking and socialising a variety of animals and to assist with their rescue and rehoming.
