The animals available for adoption are always changing and we try to keep our website up to date but it is advisable to contact the shelter to see if an animal has found a home, or if there are any new animals for adoption.

Benji

About me: Benji is a lively and affectionate boy, he’s incredibly smart and responds well to training and will need a home that will be able to continue this for him. He will do well in an environment where he can use his brain and body, such as long walks and fun problem solving games. He has endless enthusiasm and love to give!
Cats: No.
Dogs: He will need to be the only dog in the home.
Children: 8 years and over.
Ideal home: Benji is looking for a home that understands his breed’s traits and can offer him plenty of enrichment, exercise and companionship. He will need a garden of his own.
Franky
Age: 3 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Greyhound
Size: Large
Energy level: Low – medium
About me: Franky is a retired racing greyhound with a heart as big as his appetite! This handsome brindle boy has swapped the racetrack for a life of well-earned relaxation and cuddles. He’s incredibly gentle, absolutely adores people, and will never say no to a tasty treat.
Cats: No, he cannot be rehomed with cats or small furries.
Dogs: Yes, he could live with another dog of a similar breed or size after several meets here at the shelter.
Children: 8 years and over.
Ideal home: He would like a garden of his own.
Sparky

About me: Sparky is a fun, energetic boy who’s always up for an adventure! He’s responding well to basic training and loves learning new things, especially when there’s treats involved. He would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, play, and ongoing training.

Dogs: Yes, he could live with another dog after several meets here at the shelter.
Children: Dog savvy children, 12 years and over.
Ideal home: He would like a garden of his own.
Charlie & Buster
Age: Charlie – 11 years, Buster – 3 years
Sex: Males
Breed: Shih-tzu
Size: Small
Energy level: Low & Medium
About me: Charlie (black) & Buster (white & brown) came to us after their owner sadly passed away. Charlie is sweet, calm, and loves to be by your side, whether it’s curling up on the couch or trotting alongside you on a short walk. Buster is full of personality! He’s a cheerful, affectionate pup who loves making new friends.
Cats: No, as Buster wants to chase them.
Dogs: Yes, they are fine with other dogs but would prefer to be the only ones in the home for now.
Children: 12 years and over, as Charlie isn’t used to young children.
Ideal home: They would prefer a quiet home with a garden of their own.
Lady May
DOB: June 2020
Sex: Female
Breed: Greyhound
Size: Large
Energy level: Low – medium
About me: May is a smaller greyhound who has the most elegant trot when she goes out – earning the nickname Lady May! She is a happy girl who loves people and is learning how to play with toys and what sofas were made for!
Cats: No.
Dogs: Yes, she could live with another dog after several meets here at the shelter. She will need further socialising around smaller breeds of dogs but she has walked well with a terrier here.
Children: 8 years and over.
Ideal home: May is a retired racer, she hasn’t lived in a home before so will need to learn about living in a home environment. She will need access to a garden to have zoomies in, before lying on the sofa for the rest of the day.
Casper
Age: 1 year approximately
Sex: Male
Breed: Lurcher
Size: Medium – large
Energy level: High
About me: Casper is a happy young lurcher, who is very puppy like and will need further training. He loves attention from people, playing with dogs and is very food oriented!
Cats: No, he cannot live with cats or small furries.
Dogs: Yes, he could live with another dog after several meets here at the shelter.
