Charlie
Age: 11 years

About me: Charlie is a sensitive boy who takes his time getting to know new people, but once he feels safe, his true personality begins to shine. After losing his owner, Charlie has been feeling understandably overwhelmed by all the changes in his life. At the shelter, he has chosen a few favourite people to trust, and with those familiar faces his cheeky, affectionate side comes out!
Cats: No.
Dogs: No.
Children: Adult only home.
Ideal home: Charlie will need a calm, experienced home with people who understand that he’ll take time to settle in. He has been through many changes in his life and has begun to show some behavioural issues as a way of coping. He’s looking for owners who are happy to take a hands-off approach; despite his adorable face, Charlie prefers to interact on his own terms and will seek attention only when he feels comfortable.

Breed: Pug cross

Energy level: Low
About me: Monkey is a very affectionate boy and simply loves to be with his people. He enjoys walks where he can take his time sniffing…but make sure you avoid the mud! Monkey is a big foodie, and can feel the need to be protective over it . He has recently started to learn how to play with toys and now has a few favourites.
Cats: Pending assessment.
Dogs: Monkey could potentially live with a calm, established dog – however he would also be suited to be an only dog.
Children: 15 years and over.
Ideal home: Monkey would thrive in a calm home with someone who has lots of love to give and can provide and maintain clear boundaries – especially around food. With gentle guidance and consistent routines, Monkey would make a wonderful companion.
Otis
Age: 9 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Pug x Chihuahua
Size: Small
Energy level: Low
About me: Otis is a very friendly boy who loves any attention he can get. He can be a little timid in new situations, but once settled he soon comes out of his shell and blossoms into the confident, excitable and inquisitive dog that he is.
Cats: He has lived with a cat previously so could again after a careful introduction.
Dogs: Otis lived with another dog previously and we think he would prefer to live with another confident, well established dog again.
Children: 12 years and over. He could live with calm, dog-savvy younger children.
Ideal home: He would prefer a quiet environment with someone who is home a lot and can shower him with affection.
