About me: Bruce is a playful, highly intelligent boy who forms strong, affectionate bonds with the people he knows and trusts. He’s deeply loyal and thrives with a good balance of mental and physical stimulation.

Like many shepherds, Bruce has a strong working mind, a natural instinct to look out for those around him and a real desire to have a purpose. He does best when given clear guidance, consistent training and opportunities to use both his mind and body.

Cats: No.

Dogs: Yes, he could live with another dog after several meets here at the shelter.

Children: Adult only.

Ideal home: Bruce is looking for a knowledgeable shepherd or herding-dog owner who understands his needs and will give him the structure, training and enrichment he requires.

His new home should appreciate his loyal and protective nature, while helping him channel these traits in positive ways. With the right person, Bruce has so much love and companionship to offer.
