About me: Ginger was a nervous little lad when he first arrived, but he has made fantastic progress and has gained so much confidence! He is now much more comfortable around people and will happily approach to see if you’ve got any tasty snacks for him. He’ll gently take treats from your hand and is really starting to show his sweet personality.

Ideal home: Ginger will need patient owners who are happy to continue building his confidence and work with him at his own pace. With time, patience and plenty of positive experiences, we’re sure he’ll continue to come out of his shell.

All hamsters require a minimum enclosure size of 100 x 50 x 50cm but with Ginger being a Syrian we would recommend a minimum of 120 x 50 x 50cm.

About me: Machiato is a friendly boy who is growing in confidence while in a foster home. He will happily approach his carer’s hand to investigate what’s going on and – of course – see if any snacks are available! He’s recently started gnawing on things but is yet to master the art of taking a sand bath.

Ideal Home: Machiato is looking to join another male gerbil of similar age, via the split cage method. The minimum enclosure size for a pair of gerbils is 100x40x40cm.
