We are currently closed for rehoming due to an outbreak of Cat Flu.

Donations can still be accepted with thanks in our reception area each day, but if you have cats at home, we strongly advise leaving donations just inside our gate.

Hopefully we have contained the virus as we are taking every precaution possible to prevent it spreading. All being well, we will re-open very soon.

Please note our new opening hours:

Monday - CLOSED

Tuesday - 11am-3pm

Wednesday - 11am-3pm

Thursday - 11am-3pm

Friday - 11am-3pm

Saturday - 11am-3pm

Sunday - 11am-3pm

Our annual Christmas Fayre and Santas Grotto will be at the shelter in Mortimers Lane on Sunday 4th December 2016.

The gates will be open between 12 midday and 3.30pm

Entrance is 50p for adults and free for children and dogs.

There will be refreshments - including mulled wine and mince pies - various raffles, games and tombolas, craft stalls, gift stalls and much much more.

Children and dogs can meet Santa in his grotto and can have their photo taken and will receive a gift!

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE **

Please note we do not have the facilities to help or accommodate wildlife.

We are a domestic animal rescue and rehoming centre.

Occasionally staff may hand-rear wildlife in their spare time, but when the animals are old enough then they are signed over to specialist wildlife rescues - such as Brent Lodge near Chichester.

It seems we are listed on several wildlife lists as being able to help, but unfortunately this is not the case. We sadly do not have the staff, time or appropriate housing to be able to take care of such animals correctly.

We have asked on several occasions for our shelter to be removed from such lists but this hasn't been done.

We do highly recommend Brent Lodge and Hart Wildlife rescues - Both based in Hampshire.
