We would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and every person who made our 2018 Summer Fun Day possible.

All the dogs were true superstars in the show-ring and us judges had a very difficult time choosing the winners of each class. Best in Show was the extremely gorgeous Elvis – a Bluetick Coonhound rescue dog and Reserve Best in Show was won by Bluebell – a paraplegic rescue dog. Best Bull Breed was won by a stunning Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Kush and Super St Francis Dog was won by the lovely Lucie – who was one of seven Springer Spaniel puppies that we rescued here at St Francis during October 2017. All very well deserved winners.

Thank you to everyone who helped organise over the last few months, kindly donated items, baked us yummy cakes, volunteered their spare time to help set up last week and pack away again today, assisted with the animals at the shelter, manned stalls or helped with parking and also thank you to each and every one of our amazing supporters who attended and helped us raise the grand total of £6255.33 (and still a bit more to be added) !!! Plus loads of other charities who attended, made lots of pennies for their equally good causes too.

Special thank you to Henry Russell for allowing us the use of Highbridge Farm which has been a truly brilliant location for our event.

Christmas Fayre 2019

We always need Bric a brac, books, etc for our fundraising events and good quality items for Raffle and Tombola prizes.
